Julie Kliesch, DVM
I graduated from Colorado State University in 2002. I have a special interest and have interned in Canine and Feline Dermatology as well as Internal Medicine.
I became a veterinarian to make animals' lives better. I especially enjoy problem solving and seeing all the puppies and kittens, too, of course. And most definitely those stately geriatric dogs and cats who hold the answers to life's questions in their eyes.
My own pets presently include: Shiwi - a 13 year old one-eyed domestic short haired kitty rescued from Zuni, NM Reservation at 5 weeks of age; Luna - a 3 year old calico champion bug-catcher of Alabama trailer park origin: Neelix - a ~15 year old domestic short hair - smartest most manipulative cat ever, rescued from Las Vegas, NM on a cold December day outside of a nursing home; Lori - a 12 year old labrador/shepherd mix from Tucson Humane Society and love of my life for 11 years; Zephyr - 12 year old german shepherd dog who just recently came to live with us, but is already firmly part of the family.
